This isn't a major post just something to tide you over. More details to follow in the complete post.
We made it limping into Badlands National Park at about 1:30am after 13 hours of driving. We have a horrible humming coming from the rear differential. Going to a shop tomorrow. The stars here are amazing, you can actually see the Milky Way dust cloud with your bare eyes.
P.S. Sioux Falls smells like bacon.
P.P.S It seems as though the raccoons out here are suicidal and go out of their way to run into traffic.
